Welcome to the Blogging Friends September Blog Hop!
I am really happy to be participating in my very first blog hop! The members of this lovely hop are quite talented, so I am honored that they have agreed to include me. The Blogging Friends is a group of Stampin’ Up! demonstrators located all across the U.S. and Canada who get together the first of every month to bring you a fun new themed blog hop. Each hop is loaded with awesome projects and tons of inspiration!
If this is your first visit to my site – Welcome! Be sure to take a look around. If you love what you see, be sure to subscribe to my newsletter to receive a weekly recap of all my posts, notifications of new video tutorials, and other awesome Stampin’ Up! stuff. Also … be sure to leave a comment below to let me know if you are new to my blog. Or if you are one of my followers, let me know how you are liking this new addition to my lineup!
In case you’ve never “done” a blog hop before … here’s how they work: At the bottom of my post, you will see an image to click on that will take you to the next post in the blog hop series. Keep clicking on that same image at the bottom of each blog post to “hop” through all the participating blogs … until you make it back to me. That way you are sure not to miss any projects! There is also a list of all the participating with links at the bottom of this post for your reference.
The blog hop this month is super special, as the Blogging Friends are celebrating their One Year “Blogiversary” … so this month’s theme is celebration or anniversary. Another reason this blog hop is super special … Shelli Gardner, the co-founder of Stampin’ Up!, is making a lovely special guest appearance!
For those of you who know me … I rarely design a card without a specific idea or celebration in mind. Today’s card is no exception. This card is one for my mom … just simply to celebrate her for no reason at all.
For today’s card, I paired the Fox Builder punch with some Calypso Coral, Basic Black and Whisper White paper scraps to build this super cute Fox & Skunk pair. I chose a great piece of Designer Series Paper from the A Little Foxy DSP stack, because it reminds me some of confetti. I finished the card off with this sentiment from the Greatest Greeting stamp set … which makes this card the perfect one to celebrate my mom from her daughters … me being the skunk of course!
Thank you for stopping by my blog today! Please make sure you subscribe to my blog, if you have not done so already! More great projects to come!
